Outreach
The solar theory group has an active schools outreach program where we aim to inspire the next generation of solar scientists.
The Sun has many areas of research involved with it, we cover most of these from looking from the interior out to the Solar atmosphere, the transient events which can affect the Earth and also space weather. Our local star is fascinating and we aim to pass on our enthusiasm whenever we interact with others.
This is also expanded to our public events where we give talks and demonstrations for all ages. This has included events such as science festivals/days and also a series of talks as part of Women in Science week.
